Standards Mapping for Smart Industry Readiness Index (SmS)
To make it easier for enterprises to upgrade their capabilities on their Industry 4.0 journey, Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Standards Council, in collaboration with TÜV SÜD Digital Service have developed a mapping of relevant national and international standards to the various dimensions of EDB's Smart Industry Readiness Index, (for more information on the Index, please visit this link). It will cover areas such as smart manufacturing, robotics and automation.
The current version of SmS provides a baseline guide on some key published standards to help enterprises upgrade their capabilities based on the SSIRI framework. Currently, this mapping comprises ISO (International Organization for Standardization), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and Singapore Standards. In the future this mapping will be reviewed to include new ISO, IEC and Singapore standards and will be enhanced to include standards developed by other standards bodies.
